BIOGRAPHY

Mike has always been a fan of movies even as a kid.  He is always a fan of a good story as well.  What's not a better combination than being a screenwriter?  The journey for Mike being a screenwriter wasn't a typical one.  He didn't go to film school, but he uses his passion and creativity to create the best possible screenplay for the goal to entertain an audience.

Mike is a drama and romantic comedy feature writer.  He loves to write redemptive stories that focus on characters that are broken.  Mike writes his characters to strive to keep their heart and spirit alive and young no matter their age.  He realizes the effect films have on an audience.  This is what drives him to write and create. 

Mike used his past experiences from his divorce to write his first screenplay, Don’t Weaken.  Mike’s experiences from the past inspires him to write more to influence an audience.       

Mike has filmed and produced his first short film, Nertz!  The film is currently in post-production. 

Born in Nebraska, Mike later moved to Colorado.  For college he went back to his roots moving to Lincoln, Nebraska.  After pursuing a career in business, Mike has shifted his focus to screenwriting where he is always thinking of new ideas to turn into written projects.
